As always, Super Holiday’s top focus is the health and safety of our clients, employees, communities, and destinations we serve. We’re committed to providing memories that will last a lifetime to all of our travelers.
Destinations and attractions have varying levels of protocols in place due to the ongoing pandemic. Super Holiday Tours requires all travelers to abide by federal and local guidelines, which are subject to change. We will provide every traveler with current updates for their specific destination via Trip Dashboard in our web portal.
As vaccination levels rise nationwide we will continue, with our partners, to use all preventive strategies available. Our partners realize cleanliness and safety is of the highest priority, and have been meeting all CDC and local guidelines.
While we are in California, per Department of Transportation, masks will be worn at all times while sitting or riding in a charter bus coach:
Masks are mandatory. Touchless thermometers and physical guides (e.g., decals, colored tape, or signs) are on each motorcoach to support passengers’ safety and social distancing on board the motorcoach. Drivers can identify most common symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., coughing or sweating) and have the authority to consult with the charter party regarding the proper safety procedures to isolate the passenger(s).
While at LAX airports, all travelers will wear a mask:
Effective Feb. 2, 2021, TSA requires individuals to wear a mask at TSA airport screening checkpoints and throughout the commercial and public transportation systems. This requirement will remain effective until Jan. 18, 2022. Regarding the civil penalty fine structure for individuals who violate the Security Directive, TSA will recommend a fine ranging from $250 for the first offense up to $1,500 for repeat offenders. For more information, please visit https://www.tsa.gov/coronavirus.
Once in California, more specifically in the Los Angeles area, we will be subject to health mandates from the LA County Board of Health. This includes The Hard Rock Cafe, Griffith Observatory and The Grammy Museum:
Everyone is required to wear a mask in all indoor public settings, venues, gatherings, and public and private businesses in Los Angeles County. Masks are also required while using public transport, in transportation hubs, outdoors at Mega Events, and at any other business if that is the policy of the venue.
You are allowed to take off your mask while you are:
- Actively eating or drinking if you are sitting or standing in a specific place such as a table, counter, or ticketed seat. (You must wear a mask when you are waiting to be served, between courses or drinks, and while seated after finishing your food or drink.)
- Alone in a separate room/space.
- Showering or swimming.
- Receiving a personal hygiene or personal care service (like a facial or shave) that cannot be done without removing your mask
Universal Studios Hollywood will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entrance into the park.
All persons ages 12+ must be prepared to show proof of full FDA or WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination (a full 14 days after final dose was administered), or a negative test taken within 72 hours of visit, prior to entry to the theme park. Persons ages 18+ must also show photo ID. Verification will take place when required based on theme park attendance. Children under the age of 12 are not required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result.
Regardless of vaccination status, face coverings are required to be worn at all times, both indoors and outdoors, when visiting the theme park. At Universal CityWalk, face coverings are required to be worn indoors.
At this time, the City of San Diego is not requiring proof of vaccination for entrance to indoor establishments (The Zoo for example) but masks will be required while indoors.
As a long-established tour company, we feel it is our responsibility to keep you informed of the protocols for your particular travel destination. Although times may be a bit different and ever changing, we are committed to providing our clients (that’s you!) with a positive travel experience.
