Super Holiday Tours expands offerings and client base with purchase of two educational experience and performance entities.
ORLANDO, Fla., September 25, 2023 — Super Holiday Tours, which has created unique travel experiences since 1975, announced today the acquisition of both Educational Experiences and Music USA, two well-established organizations focused on offering performance opportunities and STEAM-based experiences for traveling student groups.
The announcement was made by Bryan Cole, President of Orlando-based Super Holiday Tours, who purchased Educational Experiences and Music USA from longtime owners Chuck and Liz Kleinschmidt.
“The contributions from Chuck and Liz to the industry have been vast and I’m thrilled to be trusted to continue their legacy of offering the same exceptional experiences they’ve brought to tens of thousands of students over the years,” said Cole, who plans to maintain all existing aspects of both businesses. “Not only does this move bring Super Holiday back to our roots a bit by offering our clients an increased number of performance opportunities and events, it also helps to diversify the range of experiences we’re able to bring to more students than ever before.”
Cole and the Kleinschmidts have been familiar with each other professionally and socially since Bryan purchased Super Holiday Tours in 1991, with Chuck forming Educational Experiences shortly after in 1992.
“I formed Educational Experiences with the goal of connecting educators and students with ways to understand science or improve their musical talents,” Chuck said of the organization’s beginnings.
Both Cole and the Kleinschmidts began talks of a deal back in 2022 while attending Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA) Annual Conference.
“During our meetings, we came to the realization that the combination of Music USA, Educational Experiences and Super Holiday Tours would allow for our companies to continue the high quality that’s been built over 50 years,” Chuck said. “That means being able to maintain nurtured vendor relationships and have well-trained, experienced Orlando staff right there to deliver personalized attention.”
